May 21st - Ride to Work Day

Join us in promoting bicycles as a fun and efficient way to get to work.  We'll meet at Allen Park, check out the Greenway's progress, and ride to downtown. See route here. There will be a police escort. Helmets are Required. Ride will leave promptly at 7AM to beat the school traffic. Breakfast will be served at Piero's at the end of the ride (and you Don't wanna miss that)!

May 22nd - Come Learn

Craighead Forest Park Pavillions #2

Come and learn everything you need to learn about riding a bike, but have been afraid to ask. Want to know how to handle riding in traffic, how to manuever in intersections, and what to do out on the trail? Maybe you'd like to learn how to fix a flat or make basic repairs to your bike? Do ride often and want to know how to keep body working in tip top shape?

We'll have classes and clinics covering:

Road Cycling Skills for Adults* (learn how to drive your bike)

Mountain Bike Skills (the basics to get you out enjoying the trails)

Repair Clinic (the must-know skills for keeping you rolling)

First-Aid/Injury Prevention

Kid's Rodeo* (kids will learn bicycle safety in a "real world" environment)

*Taught by instructors certified by the League of American Bicyclists

May 23rd - Try Out Your New Skills

Join your fellow cyclists for a friendly, casual ride.  New cyclists will be able to pair up with veteran cyclists and get a feel for participating in a group ride.
